Ugh, I hate mascara. I used to wear it when I was in college, but nowadays I just hate mascara so much. Partly it’s because I wear contacts and I hate wearing any eye makeup. As for Julia’s comment on Botox and plastic surgery – “I’m pro whatever works for you… For me, at this point, I’m clinging to my good genes and lots of hugs and kisses from my husband.” That’s interesting. Mostly because I’ve believed for years now that Julia has had her eyes done… and maybe more. I’m glad that Julia isn’t being judgy about those who do go under the knife, but I don’t think that she’s JUST “clinging to her good genes.”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Besides a perfectly smooth forehead from Botox or Dysport it does not appear that Julie Benz has had any other cosmetic work done to her face. She has lost her golden tan which can alter the look of a person. In this case, I think her pale complexion has made her look slightly older.”

Kat Deluna Plastic Surgery Before and After Liposuction

Kat Deluna had plastic surgery to improve her image. The before & after pictures reveal she had liposuction. Overall, was Kat Deluna's cosmetic surgery procedure a good or bad idea?

“Looking at this picture of Kat DeLuna would you say she had bad lipo done on her stomach? In this picture of her stomach the skin looks wrinkled.”

Even truly talented plastic surgeons can have real trouble repairing a botched liposuction to make the area look natural again.

So why did Kat Deluna get plastic surgery?

She’s already young, fairly popular, quite talented and attractive, so no one really knows the answer.

Deluna herself hasn’t given much in the way of an explanation, so everything that’s floating around seems to be mostly speculation as to why someone so young and already good looking would get plastic surgery, and especially plastic surgery with a risk of turning out the way that it did.

Some proposed theories are that she was looking for a way to break into the big leagues, and sometimes being famous and infamous is really the same thing.

Being born with good genes and a good deal of talent, then having those natural attributes increased with some selective cosmetic procedures.

Born Norma Jeane Mortenson, Marilyn Monroe had to create her own persona and look in the Hollywood of yesteryear. She began as a model, but eventually ended up on the big screen in a variety of roles that included 29 films with a 30th unfinished.

When she came out to Hollywood she was young and attractive, as well as talented, but she was made over into someone new. According to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Norman Leaf, who states he had contact with Marilyn’s plastic surgeon and to have seen her chart, she underwent at least two different procedures.

One of them was a chin implant, which would have given her that distinctive jawline that really enhanced her facial structure and the other was a tip rhinoplasty which would have reshaped the soft cartilage of her nose.

Michael Gurdin, who performed the procedures, listed the first entry on Marilyn’s chart as July 14, 1958.

Ask someone if they’ve heard the name Marilyn Monroe. Chances are good that everyone you ask knows who she is. She’s an icon, both as a starlet and as an example of American beauty.

Plastic surgery in the 1950s was still relatively new, so what Marilyn did took a lot of guts.  Unlike the stars of today where there are constant questions and rumors about cosmetic or plastic surgery as far as the mainstream celebrities are concerned, is it possible that Marilyn really did break new ground?

However she was possibly not the first to get plastic surgery in old Hollywood; there were rumors of stars and starlets that always knew just where to go to get a little cosmetic help in keeping their looks picture perfect.

And when Marilyn found her doctor, the small procedures that have gone on the record went over very well indeed. No rejection, no complications and given that plastic surgery was still so relatively new at the time there was a significantly smaller rumor mill that she had to deal with even as a famous starlet.

Marilyn Monroe is said to have gone under the surgeon's knife for a nose job and chin surgery in 1946, when she first signed with Twentieth Centry-Fox Studios - this coincided with the name change and dying her hair blonde.

In detail, it is rumored that in 1950 her Hollywood agent, Johnny Hyde, arranged for her to have her nose and chin surgically perfected. The details for the procedures are unknown. It was speculated that they removed a piece of dead cartlidge from her nose and added cartlidge to her chin. The studio people called Marilyn a "chinless wonder."

Monroe also had her teeth fixed prior to the shooting of Ladies of the Chorus in 1948. Dr. Walter Taylor, an orthodontist specializing in cosmetic surgery, perfected her front teeth, which protruded slightly. Marilyn's front teeth were straightened but we should keep in mind that dental work isn't classified as plastic surgery.

On the other hand, there are some plastic surgeon experts who don't think the piece of dead cartlidge removed from the tip of her nose as a plastic surgery procedure, but more of a breathing hazard. There are also others who doubt Marilyn had a chin implant,  because plastic surgery like that was very uncommon in the late 1940's.

It is rumored that Marilyn also had her hairline raised. There are no reports of breast augmentation.

It has to be noted that celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Norman Leaf of Beverly Hills, who has 35 years of experience with Hollywood celebrities but never operated on her, talked about Marilyn Monroe's nose job and chin implant in his new book: "Are Those Real? True Tales of Plastic Surgery from Beverly Hills":  "Though Monroe was never his patient, Leaf inherited her surgical chart from his former partner, Michael Gurdin, a prominent plastic surgeon in Hollywood after World War II. The first entry in the chart is July 14, 1958. In handwritten notes, says Leaf, Gurdin details Monroe's 1950 chin implant surgery. Eight years later, the collagen implant had absorbed and all that remained was a tiny scar under Monroe's chin".

"There was no notation about the star's earlier nose job, but Leaf writes: "Gurdin had told me several times that he and (associate John) Pangman had also performed a tip rhinoplasty on her"- in other words, reshaping the soft cartilage", Leaf claimed.

It has to be mentioned that Leaf's book has attracted some praise from celebrities, including plastic surgery addict Joan Rivers. Rivers was quoted as saying: "From the very first sentence I couldn't put it down. This book is smart, funny, and...well, I could go on and on but I have stop raving about it because its time for my Botox."

Those who insist Marilyn didn't have any kind of plastic surgery, they claim that without medical records which prove Marilyn's plastic surgery procedures, there is no evidence of  procedures actually done.

Marilyn was told in the mid 1940's to smile differently because her top lip would raise above her teeth and gums would be noticeable.

Judging by the before and after photos,  there is a distinct difference in the shape of her nose, which went from bulbous to slender and her chin was more rounded.

Just in case you are curious about Marilyn Monroe's opinion about plastic surgery, Monroe was quoted as saying: "I want to grow old without facelifts...I want to have the courage to be loyal to the face I've made. Sometimes I think it would be easier to avoid old age, to die young, but then you'd never complete your life, would you? You'd never wholly know you."

Marlo Thomas’s cosmetic surgery for her nose has been confirmed. However, the brow lift and the potential face lift – although fairly apparent – have not been confirmed by any sources.

Mary Louise Parker Plastic Surgery Before and After Botox and Nose Job

Hollywood is rife with rumors about who’s going under the knife, so it was only a matter of time before middle aged actress Mary Louise Parker’s plastic surgery rumors took center stage. Parker, born August 2nd 1964, is the star of the Showtime original series Weeds and she’s been an acclaimed actress long before this.

She’s also a mother, with an adopted daughter and a son from a previous relationship. Given all of that, it seems that her face is still amazingly smooth and unlined, which has prompted rumors of celebrity plastic surgery.
Has She Had Cosmetic Surgery?

This one is a tough call, especially since Mary Louise Parker isn’t what you’d normally call a plastic surgery celebrity. Others fall conveniently into that category – see Kris Jenner for example.

Television is traditionally a place for actresses that want to age gracefully without the assistance of a surgeon’s knife. But it is hard to argue with the notion that for a mother in her 40s Mary Louise Parker does have remarkably few wrinkles. Whether it’s around her eyes, her smile or frown lines, her face is smooth and youthful looking.

Of course, if you throw out clean living and lots of personal care as the only reason that Mary Louise Parker looks so good at her age, you’re left with a lot of plastic surgery options. For instance there is laser skin rejuvination, which can help maintain a youthful look and vitality with regular treatments.

There have also been those that have claimed she must be a fan of Botox, and it does appear that her face has the smooth, difficult to emote through veneer common to those that use Botox to remain wrinkle free and youthful.

But in the end, you have to weigh the claims against any sort of evidence that we can find about whether or not there has been cosmetic surgery.

Mary Before and After Cosmetic Enhancements?

When it comes to Mary Louise Parker, she has something of a unique case when it comes to plastic surgery rumors.

Mostly it’s most of what she’s accused of lies outside the realm of “traditional” plastic surgery. There’s no knife involved, no bandages or recuperation time.  Other stars are also pretty tight-lipped about the cosmetic procedures – see Scarlett Johansson and also Jwoww).

Botox injections are about as non-invasive as you can get with cosmetic surgery, and there haven’t been accusations of rhinoplasty, face lifts or any more traditional cosmetic surgery procedures. On the other hand there also haven’t been confirmations from the actress herself.

When it comes to the procedures in question, you have to ask yourself if they even qualify as plastic surgery and then look for the signs. Botox injections tend to come with a smooth face, but also a difficulty moving the muscles of the face.

Laser treatments are very hard to detect, unless something goes wrong and the patient gets burned by them. And while people have pointed out that Parker does look even mor bright eyed now than when she was young, no one’s yet stepped forward with a copy of her medical chart to confirm the Mary Louise Parker plastic surgery.

Popular television show Weeds returned this week, although without twin Mary-Kate Olsen and her perfect nose job. The show’s star, Mary Louise Parker has had more than enough work done to satisfy Make Me Heal’s plastic surgery cravings.

In fact, she might even look younger than she did when she first became noticed in 1991′s Fried Green Tomatoes.

In addition, Mary-Louise Parker’s nose has a very unusual tip. It could be naturally odd, or it could the result of a nose job. The tip looks the same, but her nose seems to have grown with her popularity, so she most likely had rhinoplasty to help give her a more defined faced.

Kim Jaejoong Plastic Surgery Before and After

Kim Jaejoong, or Hero Jaejoong as he’s sometimes referred to, has quite a gallery of plastic surgery rumors following him around.

While most of these center on his nose, a feature the Korean pop star (see also Song Hye Kyo plastic surgery), actor, director and song writer has admitted to being shy about, it’s a debate that hasn’t reached American ears much past the anime and Kpop communities.

However, the rabid state of the debates in the fandom that one can find on forums might leave you reeling from the vitriol being flung about as the question of whether or not Jaejoong went under the knife is discussed.

Has Jaejoong Had Plastic Surgery?

The answer is… we don’t know!

The debate among fans rages between “of course he did, just look at him!” to “You’re ridiculous, he would never!”

When the question was put to Kim Jaejoong and he was asked out right whether or not he’d changed his looks with the help of a scalpel, he was as at least as evasive as American actors and actresses, like the famed Lady Gaga plastic surgery speculations.

“That’s a secret,” Hero Jaejoong was quoted as saying, smiling at the interviewer when he gave his answer to the question of if he’d had plastic surgery. “All my fans know the truth behind that, but if you don’t, let’s just skip the question.”

However, when Jaejoong gave that answer he did elaborate, saying that he’d always been unsatisfied with his nose and that he personally felt it was a little flat. Hardly a ringing endorsement or denial of celebrity plastic surgery, but the K-pop scene has interpreted these vague statements both one way and the other.
Jaejoong’s Surgeries – Before and After Pictures?

Perhaps the oldest, most tried and true method when it comes to detecting plastic surgery in any country is to examine pictures of the celebrity in question before and after the dates of the supposed cosmetic procedures.

However, when it comes to whether or not Jaejoong has gotten a rhinoplasty, even a minor one, the jury’s still out on the results of his photos. The doesn’t appear to be much of a change, but that has lead those that believe the star’s gotten surgery to claim he had a very talented surgeon and it’s lead those on the other end of the spectrum to say that the pictures show he never had any work done in the first place.

And as has been shown in interviews, Jaejoong just isn’t telling us his secret.

However, with celebrities like Demi Moore coming clean about plastic surgery, one might think that it was becoming more accepted as something that celebrities do.

When your looks are your paycheck, why shouldn’t you take every possible step to ensure that your career progresses? But whether Jaejoong enjoys the mystery, or he doesn’t want to outright deny any procedures is unclear.

However, the debate still rages on about whether or not all of the Kpop singer’s features are really natural or his own in the Jaejoong plastic surgery speculations.

Kim Kardashian’s Plastic Surgery? Shocking New Photos!
 Is Kim Kardashian the new Heidi Montag? The reality star is used to getting all kinds of attention, but the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has set tongues wagging and the Internet buzzing with her shocking new appearance at a recent event.

The photo (you can click on it to make it bigger) on the right was from taken on April 7th, 2010 as Kim Kardashian hosted the Bravada International launch party in Los Angeles. Kim Kardashian has always been rumored to have had work done on her face and body, something she has always denied, but then again she denied having a sex tape years ago, and we all know how that turned out.

Photos from this event show some very noticeable differences in her face compared to what she looked like in 2006, or even what she looked like just a year ago. You can see more photos of Kim below.

The 29 year-old E! star, who ended her relationship Reggie Bush just two weeks ago, looks to have had some cheek implants, face injections, a nose job, and perhaps some botox or face lift. No telling on what she has done to the rest of her body.

Hollywood is such a weird place, as once again, there was no reason for Kim to drastically alter her look, she looked just fine before. Hopefully Kim can stop altering her face before she ends up looking like the cat lady.

When some people think cosmetic surgery, Kim Kardashian is one of the celebrities that immediately jumps to  mind.

Born on October 21st, 1980, Kim, on the surface at least, seems like one of those celebrities who is famous just for the media frenzy surrounding her mother, her stepfather and of course her sisters.

Kim Kardashian along with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian are the daughters of the late Robert Kardashian.

Her mother is Kris Jenner who is married to former Olympic decathlete and gold medalist and certainly no stranger to the world of cosmetic enhancement, Bruce Jenner.

An exotic blend of Armenian and Scottish heritage,  she possesses a unique look that she has used to her advantage becoming a model, a fashion fixture and later on an actress and a hostess.

She’s no stranger to controversy either, given that she’s one of the celebrities out there with a famous sex tape, but she’s also been on several television shows hosted by E! Entertainment, most notably Keeping Up With The Kim Kardashian which has already spawned more spin-offs than you might think.

Since she relies so heavily on her looks, many are bound to ask whether Kim has gotten any cosmetic work done?
Has She Had Face Surgery?
There have been many rumors flying, both online and in the tabloids, about the work that Kim is supposed to have had done on herself.

Everything from face surgery, a nose job (what professionals refer to as a rhinoplasty), to breast implants to chemical peels, botox injections (see also Nicole Kidman) and even butt implants.

Like Jenni Farley (see Jwoww’s surgery) and Lady Gaga, there are all sorts of rumors when the truth may be quite disappointing.

Of course, it isn’t as though certain eminent plastic surgeons have stepped forward into the spotlight to tell all of this to reporters; part of their profession is supposed to be discretion and confidentiality after all.

But most fans, or just those who accuse Kim of going under the knife, will use the tried and tested method of comparing recent photographs to one in the past to point out how she may have physically changed as evidence of surgical procedures.

Of course, it is important that you keep an open mind since if you’re sure something is there you’re going to end up seeing it even if no one else does.

First of all, the human body changes over time and even if a person is recognizable, she isn’t going to look like the same person she was even a few years ago.

So it’s important that if you’re using pictures to support claims of cosmetic enhancement that the pictures were taken so close together that any changes can’t be a result of nature.

More than that though, pictures can be deceiving for other reasons.

The before and after pictures, however, certainly plant more than the occasional seed of doubt, no matter what Kim ‘officially’ says.

Much like a scientific experiment, two photographs have to be as similar as possible for you to use them reliably.

Kim has gone on the record with ABC’s Cynthia McFadden to deny that she has had any sort of surgery done.

She even went so far as to have a bit of fun at her own expense, saying:

    “If I take this bra off, you will tell me I need to get them done.”

Kim Kardashian continued the interview, saying that she isn’t against plastic surgery.  A good position to hold for a celebrity since this type of surgical intervention has been an institution ever since Marilyn Monroe (see also did Marilyn Monroe have plastic surgery?) got work done on her nose and chin to create her classic, timeless look.

However Kim Kardashian also said that as things stood as of May 2010, the furthest she’d gone down that particular road was to get botox injections which, according to most people, is a cosmetic procedure but doesn’t quite qualify as plastic surgery. Other stars have also confessed to Botox without directly going under the surgeon’s knife.  Kyra Sedgwick’s confession is one such example.

Kim Kardashian also denied rumors of a rhinoplasty, saying that “I’ve never had my nose done“, something which she admitted was something of an irony since her nose is, according to her, one of her biggest insecurities about her look.

Other stars it seems have also succumbed to such a suggestion – see Megan Fox after  surgery.

She did admit going to a doctor and getting the pictures taken to see what she would look like if she had decided to go through with a certain surgery procedure on her nose.

In addition to denying that she’s had her nose fixed surgically, Kim has also had X-rays done on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians to prove that her butt doesn’t have any implants in it to give her behind the very recognizable curve she sports.
Is Kim a Lying Fake?

Despite all these attempts to prove the contrary, some observers have sorted through the photo archives to produce a number of video comparisons.

Of course, all of Kim’s denials haven’t stopped the naysayers who claim that the opposite is true. Some people, from the camp that expect any celebrity to deny having gotten plastic surgery, point out that taking Kim’s word doesn’t exactly smack of real digging into the issue of whether or not her looks are natural.

Some individuals think the evidence is so overwhelming they have labelled her a fake. You can make up your own mind by considering them yourself.

Others, who might seem more reasonable such as Dr. Anthony Youn, point out that just because one procedure didn’t happen doesn’t mean others haven’t. Youn, in response to Kardashian’s proving that she didn’t have butt implants, posted on his blog that the absence of implants didn’t mean that natural fat couldn’t have been used to plump her rear, thereby creating a natural look without the tell-tale implants.

At the end of the day though, there is nothing more substantial than rumors and speculation about what Kim may or may not have had done on the operating table.  Like other famous celebrities such as Erica Durance, the jury is still out.

So far she’s denied any cosmetic procedures, but hasn’t shut the door on future possibilities, and that’s the story that she’s sticking to. In order to naysay that you’d need to have someone with evidence or proof. More than a red circle on a supposed before and after picture.
